A little history tour of the tie
So where exactly did the tie originate? History tells us that the humble tie has roots that date back to the 17th century in France. During the 30 year war, Croatian soldiers travelled to France to support King Louis XIII and used a piece of cloth to tie t the top of their uniforms. King Louis adopted this style and continued the tradition after the way. To honor the Croatian soldiers, he named the accessory “La Cravate” – a name that is still used in France today and this is the precursor to the tie as we know it today.
In the last five years, the tie has been modified once again – this time with LED. And so the LED Christmas tie was born for a festive flourish, the LED Halloween bow tie joined the trick or treating team and the light up bow tie became a stylish staple for a party look.
